I always love Shopbop's "Shop Your Style" features and I fell in love with this Classic version in their most recent one. The Vince top and DVF pants are perfect for fall. Total cost for Shopbop's look - $1496.

J Crew Lucinda Blouse

J Crew's silk Lucinda blouse is one of their new fall arrivals and comes in a variety of colors (I especially love the vibrant flame). It retails for $98.


Gap has a very similar shirred shoulder blouse which is polyester instead of silk, but will give you a very similar style for less cash. It retails for $59.95 (currently on sale for $41.96!) and you can click on the photo below to purchase (also available in a green color).

Style Me Saturday: Teacher's First Day Back to School

Reader Tierney is a high school English teacher and she wrote in asking if I could put together a professional but still comfortable and approachable look for the first day of school. She wants to stick to a budget, and is willing to utilize black flats and a black blazer that she owns (she also gave me some other options but those are the items I chose to use for this look). She loves J Crew, Banana Republic, and Kate Spade to name a few, and loves putting brights or pastels with classic neutrals. Style Me Saturday: Colorful Guest at Wedding

Holly is attending a wedding coming up very soon and wants an above the knee dress in a bright color (or print). She's envisioning it paired with nude heels and a statement necklace. Style Me Saturday: Egypt Trip

A reader is heading to Egypt and although it gets very hot there, exposed shoulders and knees are unacceptable so tank tops and shorts are out of the question. I am loving this look from J Crew right now, unfortunately for my wallet - the entire look retails for $768.50.


Unfortunately I wasn't able to find exact items to recreate this look, so I flipped the colors and used a tank (great for summer, layer with the cardigan for work or a fall appropriate look) for a different spin on things.
