Rebecca Taylor's floral silk blouse retails for $275 at Saks and is perfect for spring.
This shirt is chiffon instead of silk, and the pattern/style varies some but it reminded me quite a bit of the pretty floral Rebecca Taylor version. So, if you're on a budget and don't mind that it's more inspired by than exactly the same - click here to purchase this great option for $68.

What I'm Wearing: Saturday Night Fever
I actually wore this last night, but didn't get around to posting it. I purchased this Ann Taylor Loft blazer this past fall and this is the first time I have gotten a chance to wear it. I'm not sure why it took me so long because I adore it - it makes a basic tee and jeans seem so much more put together and chic. Anyways, sadly it's no longer available (you may be able to still find it in a random store here or there) so I found an alternative jacket instead.

As I mentioned above, the blazer from Ann Taylor Loft is sold out - I realize this jacket shown isn't quite as polished but it's the best I could find. I did find THIS blazer and THIS fur wrap which you could tuck under the blazer to make it look more like a fur collar. Style Me Saturday: Photographer's Workshop
Dawn is a photographer on the east coast (see her webpage HERE) and is heading to the west coat for a workshop in February. She was wondering if I could give her some outfit suggestions that are both cute and comfortable for shooting. She is also considering purchasing a pair of Tory Burch flats and wanted my thoughts on how comfortable they are.
As a fellow photographer, the criteria I have for my own shooting attire is that it must be comfortable (so I can move around), not too low cut (I don't want to have to worry about flashing a client as I bend over to get a shot), and I typically stay away from light colors (in case I need to get down on the ground, I don't want to worry about stains). For shoes I always shoot in flat shoes (or sandals in the summer - but not flip flops, something that won't fall off as I move around) and I LOVE my Tory Burch Reva flats. (Note: If you must wear heels, I think a wedge would be best as they are a bit sturdier than a regular heel.) I have worn my flats to death and didn't have any foot pain even after being on my feet all day while photographing a wedding. Plus, I always get a ton of compliments on them - they are hands down the most worn shoe in my closet so I absolutely think they are worth the money. I bought mine in my true shoe size, but like many shoes they do take a little breaking in because of the elastic at the heel.
