Current/Elliott The Skinny Shredded Jeans

Current/Elliott's skinny black shredded jeans retail for $234 at Madison LA.


The shredding on these American Eagle skinny jeans doesn't go quite as far down the leg, and there is fabric in the openings for a more modest style. Marc by Marc Jacobs' Totally Turnlock Faridah bag retails for $448 at Piperlime.



This handbag from Aldo reminded me of the Marc by Marc Jacobs version so I thought it would make a great inspired by post. The pockets are different (these are smaller and have flaps), but the shape and basic style of the bag is very similar. UGG Australia Classic Cardy Convertible Sweater Boot

This boot by Ugg retails for $140 at Victoria's Secret and can be worn both short and tall, as shown by the photo below.

These grommet booties by Alexander McQueen originally retailed for $1249 at Zappos Couture, now on sale for the budget busting price of $1000.

If you can't afford the original (even on sale) but have been hoping for a lookalike, you're in luck. Bebe's Belinda Slingback grommet bootie is a similar shoe for only $159.00 (saving you a whopping $841 off the SALE price of the McQueen version). They only come with the silver grommets, but I think they are a great alternative for less. Click on the photo below to purchase.

Christian Louboutin Materna Zeppa 70 sandals

Balenciaga Thong Gladiator Sandal (Flats & Heels) - *Update 9/29/09*

These nude multistrap gladiator sandals by Balenciaga retail for $895 (now reduced to $404.25) at Barneys.


If you were hoping for a similar look without dropping $400 on one pair of sandals, check out this version by Dollhouse. They aren't available in the nude color but they do come in white, black, and brown. Click on the photo below to purchase them for a much more budget friendly $46.95.


Balenciaga also did a heeled version of this sandal, which retails for $996 at Bluefly.


This version from Go Jane is patent instead of suede like the originals, but when you can get a similar shoe for only $25.20, you might be able to deal with the patent. Click here if you'd like to purchase (also available in white, gold, or silver).
