Inspired by...Abaete

Becki Newton wore this ruffled Abaete dress to an All Star party in LA awhile ago. (Photo credit: People.com) I was unable to find the retail price of this exact dress, but Abaete will run you about $400+.


Now, this dress by Donna Morgan isn't exactly like the Abaete dress above...it has a belt for starters (although it's removable), and it also has a extra ruffle. But, it reminded me of the dress Becki Newton is wearing above, so I thought it would make a good "inspired by" find. Lulu's Safari Sabatoge Strapless Mini Dress

This adorable dress is perfect for the safari trend that seems to pop back up every spring. It retails for $55 at Lulu's.


Honestly you can't go wrong with either find on this post, as $55 is not bad for a dress...but if you are trying to save a little money, or maybe just want a couple other color choices...try this dress from Forever21. CC Skye Pyramid Bracelet

This bracelet by CC Skye retails for $275 at Chick Downtown, and is also available in gold.
