These Tory Burch Martha flats originally retailed for $295.



When I saw these flats by Chinese Laundry, I was immediately reminded of the Tory Burch flats above. If you look past the difference in the main shoe material (the Chinese Laundry flats are quilted patent, the Tory Burch flats are flannel), the chain detailing is very similar. In any case, I thought they fit the bill for an inspired by post. The Chinese Laundry flats retail for $69.95 at Endless, but are currently on sale for $38.47 (limited sizes left!). It seems like everyone who commented yesterday was interested in this feature, so I decided to go ahead and try it!

Feedback needed...

I've been contemplating doing a new feature called "Celeb Style Steals", where I would post exact items celebrities wear that are budget friendly (I would not be recreating entire celebrity outfits for less - check out Fashion Under $100 if you are interested in seeing those). I would attempt to keep the finds I post $50 or less. Does this interest you, or do you think there are enough sites out there that identify what celebs are wearing? Any feedback/thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Update: *Just wanted to be clear, because I'm not sure I explained myself well and I don't want anyone to be confused. An example of a Celeb Style Steal post would be if Lauren Conrad wore a sweater from Urban Outfitters, I would post the link to the exact sweater she was wearing. I wouldn't be posting a look for less of her sweater (I do that already if a celebrity has worn the expensive item that I've found a look for less of). I hope that makes sense! 

Giuseppe Zanotti Women's E90007 Sandal

If you want a similar style of shoe on a budget, try this version from Martinez Valero. It differs slightly from the Zanotti shoe, as the crystals do not extend as far (and it doesn't come in silver), but it's a good alternative for a much lower price!
